Iceland – Japan economic consultations – ISCCJ briefing reception 6th June 2019

Last week Iceland and Japan held their first economic consultations in Tokyo. Led by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the delegation included participants from the Ministry for Industries and Innovation and representatives from the Icelandic Embassy in Tokyo.

On 6 June, the eve of the economic consultations, the ISCCJ hosted an informal briefing reception with the delegation at the Embassy of Iceland in Japan.

Mr. Loftur Thorarinsson, former Director at the ISCCJ gave guests a presentation on the current and future bilateral trade environment between Iceland and Japan.
